so i bought a card reader and tried to read the F-ed up card we recorded onto , and the files were there. i couldnt watch them, but i could hear the audio .
as an experiment i attempted the same thing with a working card and acheived the same results. just audio and still-frame video.
i think there is a good chance that something will be there, and a slight chance that it might be actual usable video.
I am not understanding why still frames are good. Does this mean there is content that can be transferred onto a computer which then shows moving pictures?

ReplyDeletethe good news is that the card that i know works reacted the same as the card i think is bunk. the similarity is better than expected.
