our first duties will begin at 10:00 am on saturday . we will film whoever is there talking to one another in front of the green screen until enough people arrive to start getting village activities with johnny helping out cutting wood, counting beans, breaking plates, philosophising, and stomping grapes. there will also be a vase selling scene (exciting). also while we are capturing those scenes, we will also have the lakonians step in to beat and torture the poor people who populate the scenes.
then we can move onto the king's speech where the king addresses his people, praising johnny's bravery , skill, and true heroism in the slaying of the beast that was terrorizing the area. he and his family and retainers then withdraw into their royal chamber.
we can then shoot the royal chamber scene where the king, queen , prince, advisors, and bouzouki expert discuss the golden bouzouki myth and plan a tournament of games to determine who will lead the expedition to find the golden bouzouki.
we will then have as many people as we will, i deem, so we will shoot the scene where johnny dances down the street with the whole village behind him dancing along, and some crowd in front of the greenscreen.
then we will film the party that takes place after the greek games. its just all the villagers and heroes partying for a minute.
and that's it for saturday
sunday:
we meet at hod's at 10:00 , leave at 11:00 for the beach.
first we will fiim the bon voyage scene where the village has turned out to see johnny pick his crew and depart. the queen insists that johnny take her son, the prince with him, johnny is confused , but allows it. the queen tells the prince to slow down the mission, and make sure it doesnt succeed. then johnny picks a crew.
next is the greek games, where the greek heroes compete in events such as the shot put, javelin, discus, running, wrestling, and fighting(wheelbarrow race?)
during this scene johnny introduces all the creew of heroes and tells poppadoppolis of his doubt in his ability to best such legendary figures. poppa tells him of his confidence in johnny's ability to win the games, and claim the bouzouki. the sipbuilder overhears this tender scene and scoffs, mocking johnny's poppa and saying that johnny could never win the tournament, and he would bet his new ship on it. poppa takes offense to this and bets his own smithy against the ship that johnny will win. just then johnny's name is called to compete.
all the heroes and some other folk will do the events, the prince cheats, and knocks diana out of the running, johnny wins and poppa gets real happy that he won his bet.
then the next scene is the last battle where johnny shows up on the beach with the bouzouki and his crew of heroes. there are arrows in the air and villagers dying all around. johnny poses, poised to play a chord on the bouzouki when he does, and that's the end.
sounds fun, right?
What beach are we going to?

jay: good question. maybe 4 mile? or scott creek again?
ReplyDeleteoliver: very good. i miss having a vhs player. still want to do a special showing of computer beach party, joysticks, hardbodies, and north shore at the secret alley.
I'd vote for 4-mile. It's a little closer, usually not very crowded, and has some nice non-beach scenery if we need it. Plus we can get a quick shot of Johnny going into and out of the temple. On the down-side the walk in and out (especially out) kinda sucks.
ReplyDeletep.s. I'm telling you, you gotta show Spring Break! It's better than Joysticks.
ReplyDeleteokay, and spring break!
ReplyDeletealso of note:
i think i have some poison oak on my face. just a little near each eye. either that or some other weird rash or otherwise histamine abrasion. no it feels like poison oak. so that's fun.
i earned it.
Probably the best summer of my life.
