i have some copies on my desk, and i can make more for us to watch.
as for selling them, we probably have to make more and someone has to make covers.
plus there is the issue possibly making the disks themselves look cool.
i bet we could pay a little money and have someone print up 100 or something if we wanted.
i havent had good luck with printing on cds/dvds. but ive never tried to screen-print them either.
we have some money in the fund, but it would be scary to spend it , and have to make it back.
too much like a business for my taste.
Anyone know a place that does DVD reproduction on the cheap for a bunch of cheapskates? We could wait and put out the trilogy on one disc, maybe all get together and do a commentary track for the films. Eff silkscreening the covers. Too much work. Just a pile of sharpies, some paper dust covers and a room full of dudes drawing dicks.
ReplyDeleteWe could get a CD label maker. I think they're pretty cheap. Sure, you wind up with paper labels on your discs, but I think it's better than nothing.
ReplyDeleteI dont believe in paper labels. The cover is more important. Those cardboard CD sleaves are cool. That cant be that expensive.
ReplyDeleteFor the Trils we could just put three together bound by some material.
I dont know about DVD repro but Id definitely pitch.
A commentary track has the potential to be as funny as the movie. That's a great idea. I've got access to pro DVD authoring software, so we could make it happen.
