Also I saw a samsung camcorder that was water proof for less than 200 bucks. Ocean cam!
as far as who's gunna play who is that just gunna play out like it always does(last minute)
ReplyDeleteseems like we should have the people who can commit to being there the most often getting the parts that have more screen time, and those who can only come sometimes having parts that require less.
ReplyDeletejohnny's crew can fluctuate some. i figure there will be the "names" and the extras. so if hercules isnt there, we can just fill his spot with some shmoe.
there are some scenes that demand consistency, like the journey to the oracle, but we will most likely shoot those on the same day, so it'll be cool.
and about the waterproof camera: that would be awesome!
there is a waterproof case that we can put jack's camera into as well.
im going to look into renting one for a day.
they are a couple hundred bucks to buy one.
it would be sweet to have some shots in the water without worrying about the camera getting ruined.

ReplyDeleteUnderwater cases for my camera appear to be about $100. I don't know what the performance is like if you're just wading around in the water, versus shooting fish or whatever. Might be able to get pretty far with just a distance shot on the sand. (15x optical zoom is decent.)

ReplyDeleteI wanted to play the prince because I see myself as the most inherently dislikable person we know. I just won employee of the year at my job and when they announced it at the xmas party my co-workers were giving me "who is this guy" looks and literally shaking their heads no. It's like I'm that character already.
ReplyDeletescene five with the smithy could possibly be filmed in the backyard at the judge's house. he has this old roman style (looking sort-of) BBQ pit deal, around cobbled shale. maybe when phil steve comes to SC, he can take a peek at the proposed location?
